Division Head (PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER III)

UNIT / PROGRAM: Exhibition Division    STATUS: Plantilla (SG18)


PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: FDCP Central Office - Manila

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and supervise the creation of programs and partnerships within the Division, both internally and externally. This involves reviewing program proposals and making recommendations before submitting them for final approval and implementation.
  • Supervise all personnel within the unit, including conducting regular performance assessments, approving overtime and offsets, and making recommendations based on evaluation results.
  • Supervise, recommend, and approve the scheduling of screenings and other activities in both the Cinematheques and JuanFlix, based on film availability provided by the Acquisition Unit, requests from local festival partners, embassies, internal (FDCP events), as well as requests from LGUs, NGOs, universities, GOs, and other independent organizers.
  • Assign tasks to unit personnel as necessary and ensure that assigned tasks are completed on time for the execution of projects, events, programs, and other ad hoc tasks.
  • Deliver outputs across one or more projects, which involves managing resources, schedules, and finances, and addressing management issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
  • Represent the agency in partnerships and coordination with local government units and institutional partners, including government and non-government agencies and organizations, to expand FDCP programs under the Exhibition Division.
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of existing projects and recommend steps for improvement or suspension based on evaluation reports.
  • Coordinate with other divisions and units for internal arrangements and division support related to program execution and partnerships necessary to achieve the agency’s (FDCP) and unit’s vision.
  • Oversee the unit’s requests for budget, disbursement, and liquidation of cash advances and petty cash for its programs and events.
  • Serve as a liaison to ensure uninterrupted delivery and fulfillment of FDCP and Exhibition (Cinematheque Centres and JuanFlix) programs and projects.
  • Supervise and report on maintaining office, administrative, operational, and technical processes within the Exhibition Division.
  • Maintain and review all records, reports, and documents prepared by self and others, pertaining to programs, events, financial disbursements, administrative and operational processes of the unit.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
  • Two (2) years of work experience
  • Eight (8) hours of relevant training
  • Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility
  • Has excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication
  • Has strong organizational and planning skills.
